NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Ordinance #2026-03 was introduced on first reading by the Township Committee of the Township of Oldmans on February 25, 2026.
The Ordinance will be considered for second reading, public hearing, and final adoption on March 11, 2026, at 7:00 PM, at the Oldmans Township Municipal Building.
Ordinance #2026-03 An Ordinance Amending Chapter 110, “Land Use”, Of The Township Of Oldmans Code To Implement The Fourth Round Of Affordable Housing In Accordance With The Fair Housing Act Of 1985, As Amended By P.L. 2024, C.2
The Ordinance outlines the general responsibilities of the Township for the satisfaction of its affordable housing obligations under (a) the New Jersey Fair Housing Act (N.J.S.A. 52:27D-301 et seq.); (b) the New Jersey Supreme Court decisions commonly referred to as the Mount Laurel doctrine; and (c) the regulations of the Council On Affordable Housing (COAH) and other applicable law for the Fourth Round (2025–2035) of its affordable housing obligations.
At the time and place stated above, all interested persons will be given an opportunity to be heard concerning this Ordinance.
A copy of the Ordinance is available for public inspection at the Office of the Township Clerk during regular business hours.
